The role of a Construction Lawyer is varied and usually involves providing both contentious and non contentious construction sector related legal advice. Duties include overseeing complex construction projects, corporate support matters, drafting documents required for construction related matters and construction related dispute resolution. Construction has traditionally been a fairly stable sector, although it is affected by the economic trends. There is a significant ammount of intellectuall challenging work resulting in it being a demanding and satisfying area of law to work in construction & engineering law, as well as changing trends in the construction sector which can make this are of law challenging to work in, at times.
