A well-established Nottingham-based firm has an exciting opening for an Employment Associate to join the firm's growing employment team.

The firm is seeking an driven individual with commercial acumen, who will build on the team's existing success and help expand the department further.

The Role:

  • As an Employment Associate you will be working on a caseload of wide ranging contentious and non-contentious respondent employment matters, including TUPE, restrictive covenants, whistle-blowing and discrimination, right through to drafting employment contracts, handbooks and much more. A working knowledge of data protection is desirable.
  • You will be working with a mixture of good quality clients, including SMEs and OMBs, but also some larger corporates.
  • You will be involved in business development, including maintaining and building on the department's relationships with existing clients, as well as assisting colleagues to generate new work.

The Candidate:

  • Our client is ideally looking for and Employment Solicitor with 6+ years PQE.
  • As an Employment Associate you should be a confident individual with excellent communication skills and be willing to network with clients.
  • You should be ambitious and looking to advance your career.
  • A client following is preferable.
