European Qualified Patent Attorney with a proven track record in Electronics and Licensing work is required to join this global brand and household name.

The role will combine your legal, commercial and technical skills to excel in the position of IP Counsel. The IP Counsel team is responsible for all the companies IP related matters. You will pro-actively advise the business sectors on all IP related issues such as Portfolio management, Counselling, Value Contribution, Value capturing/licensing and Standardisation.

You will be involved in handling the various IP aspects for a Sector: Healthcare, Consumer Lifestyle, Lighting and Corporate Technologies. This includes:

Building the IP portfolio,

Leveraging this portfolio in the market for the benefit of the Sector,

Managing the third party IP Risks for this sector,

Handling the IP aspects of various types of open innovation collaborations in which the Sector is involved.

Applicants must be an experienced IP Counsel that has passed the EQE and,

who has a Master degree in (technical) physics, engineering or electronics.

Ideally with at least a passive knowledge of German and/ or French and Italian and or Spanish language skills would be an advantage.

You have a pro-active, business-oriented working attitude and understand the commercial value of IP
