Family Lawyer/Mediator

Exciting opportunity has arisen in East Yorkshire for a Family Lawyer to join an existing Family Law team.

The successful candidate will be required to handle a mixed caseload consisting of predominantly private law matters and a small amount of legal aid work and in particular, legal aid childcare work. The desire is for the successful candidate to grow the private work within the department and enhance the already strong reputation the team has for this line of work. Ideally you will also be a trained mediator or ideally have panel membership and a willingness to be trained as a mediator.

The successful candidate must have the confidence to hit the ground running and be comfortable conducting their own advocacy. Whilst the firm has not stipulated a minimum PQE for the role, they are likely to require someone with at least 3 years PQE.
