They are one of the leading practices in the North of England, focusing largely upon business clients they are regularly mentioned in Legal 500 and Chambers across a range of commercial disciplines. They pride themselves as offering a highly commercial service in an approachable style.
My client seeks a key player to help grow their local presence in the NW legal (Manchester & Liverpool) markets, whilst specialising in insolvency and corporate restructuring. The successful candidate will be an experienced insolvency lawyer / partner, with a background in restructuring work, including debt and equity restructuring and re-financing, as well as formal insolvency procedures and practice. Historically their growth has been a combination of organic and lateral hires and whilst they see this continuing to be the case there is a push in their Manchester office in particular to further promote a number of key areas. Insolvency is one of these key areas and therefore they are looking for an Insolvency Solicitor, probably at Partner level to assist with the further penetration of their reputation with a wide range of lenders and recovery specialists, particularly focussing on the NW region.
