Commercial and Bespoke firm seek a Life Sciences Partner for their Central London office.

An opportunity now exists for an experienced and Qualified Life Sciences Attorney to join this business as a Partner. This opportunity has arisen to aid with the further development of this area of the business and in order to offer balance to the senior ranks of the team. A commercially astute and forward thinking approach to client development and winning new business will be important as will the ability to supervise, train and support more junior members of the team. Candidates will work alongside another Partner to assist in the development of the department.
Candidates will either be a Partner already or be a Senior Associate looking for their first step into this kind of role. The key will be the outlook of the successful candidate. An open approach to team management, active approach to business development and desire to reach beyond the traditional bounds of the profession will be important characteristics. A background in Biotechnology / Life Science disciplines will be matched by a strong level of qualification. While those candidates who can bring a client following will always be welcome, it is not a pre-requisite for this role, although our client would expect candidates at this level at the very least to have a strong network of contacts.
The remuneration package will be based on a number of factors, including current salary structure, rewarding new initiatives and any potential following.
