An excellent opportunity for a Litigation Solicitor to join a highly successful Libel and Privacy team in West Yorkshire has arisen. The team works for many national and high profile cases and their clients have included media personalities, agencies, private individuals and recognised athletes.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years PQE and a keen interested in libel and privacy reflected through previous experience. You workload will include matters such as libel, slander, online impersonation, harassment, cyber-bullying, anonymous publication, cyber-squatting and other related issues. These claims will be multi track claims and therefore strong multi track knowledge is essential. You should also have a good knowledge of CPR, be able to work under minimal supervision and have a sound billing track record.
You will be leading the Libel and Privacy team and therefore will need to be able to lead and supervise others workloads and assist in day to day duties as they arise. You will also be required to assist in the business development and marketing of the department.
