Impressively commercial Private Practice seeks an additional Electronics Attorney who considers themselves to be equally commercial.
With an impressive list of clients and commercially focused Attorneys, this firm have continued to make impressive strides since their inception a few years ago. They have a broad range of technical expertise in particular in Electronics and Biotechnology Patents and a market leading Trade Marks group. The notable success has been gained via a broader approach to delivering IP services and it is an approach which has won multi-national clients and a strong reputation. This has created a thriving culture ripe with opportunity for those already within the team and new entrants to the business.
As a result of this recent growth, our client is now seeking to add to their Electronics team. The group is one of the major contributors to the firm and includes two of the major players in this business. They seek additional Attorneys at either Qualified or Part-Qualified level to boost the team. You will work on an impressive caseload including but not limited to clients in the telecoms and software sectors, alongside Attorneys listed as ‘commercial & strategic’ and recommended in the professions guides. The work will be broad and take the Attorney into the body of their client’s commercial offering to take the role of the Patent Attorney beyond traditional boundaries to become a trusted advisor.
The ideal candidate will have some of the following characteristics to their background:-
- Electronics, Engineering or Mechanical background
- Qualified or Part-Qualified as a Chartered Patent Attorney
- Commercially astute and with an ability to be and present effectively to clients
- Someone who enjoys client networking, developing a caseload and promoting the business, via a range of methods. These skills may be taught to the more junior Attorney.
- A desire to be part of a developing business, clear in their objective to be a leading provider of Intellectual Property services.
Salary will be commensurate with skills & experience and determined in part by level of qualification and market rate. There is a comprehensive benefits package available.
