In-House Part-Qualified Patent Attorney to join a global technology business in their European Headquarters.
This is a market leading technology business which is entering an exciting time as they seek to diversify the uses for their technology via a number of new initiatives and tie-ins with new business partners.
The IP team is an established part of the business, containing nearly 20 Attorneys or Solicitors supported by a full administrative function all of which is based within their Continental HQ. They handle the full range of IP work including drafting, prosecuting , licensing and litigation of Patents across a broad technology based portfolio. Typical technologies handled by the team include electro-mechanical, telecommunications and engineering.
The team now has a vacancy for a Part-Qualified European Patent Attorney to join their team. Predominantly this candidate will be handling the Prosecution of European Patents before the EPO across the range of technologies covered by this business. This is a good opportunity to stretch your IP skills in an environment which is fast-paced, highly innovative and at the cutting edge of a range of technology areas.
If you feel you are the right candidate, you should be able to display some or all of the following characteristics:-
- Part-Qualified / Finalist Level European Patent Attorney.
- Gained experience in Electro-Mechanical, Engineering or Telecommunication technologies.
- A background in In-House work is of course useful but my client has a strong track record of bringing candidates in from Private Practice successfully
- A demonstrable track record in prosecuting technology based Patent Applications before the EPO.
- A strong work ethic, enthusiasm for your work and ability to organise and prioritise effectively.
- An ability to relocate to mainland Europe
