Our client, one of the largest law firms in the world, is currently recruiting for a Shipping Lawyer to join their international shipping department. The team act for ship owners, charterers and operators, together with their insurers and the work involves a mix of sea-going and commercial/finance work.

The ideal candidate will have between 1-4 years PQE .You will ideally have wet and dry shipping experience and an understanding of the commercial drivers relevant to shipping and the handling of transactional and commercial contract work in order to fulfil the mixed bag of maritime law covering both contentious and non-contentious work. You will be based in the Newcastle office.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part as a flourishing department with European and global shipping clients.
