This is a fantastic opportunity to join arguably the region's premier finance law firms. This leading international firm are keen to recruit an innovative and bright Solicitor to join their top ranked Transactional Banking and Finance team. Our client has a first rate reputation for acting for some of the biggest names in banking on some of the best quality work. They have won numerous awards in recognition if the level of service it delivers to its clients. Within this role you would be working on behalf of a number of banks and other financial institutions as well as borrowers on a broad range of transactions including general corporate banking work. You will also be helping borrowers arrange debt finance, and helping lenders to provide debt finance. As they are known for handling London quality work but from Leeds this role could suit someone looking to relocate. Our client are looking at a wide range experience levels and are currently recruiting for both junior and senior positions.

The junior role would really suit someone who is just starting out in their career and wants to learn and develop themselves, whilst the senior opportunity is ideal for someone eager to push their career forward towards partnership as there is a very clear route to this for the right person.

At the junior level, the firm have often been willing to consider lawyers with no previous transactional banking experience but have experience in other areas such as projects, corporate real estate, corporate recoveries or corporate finance who are looking to retrain. This has enabled them to recruit on the basis of personality and potential and helped them to bring through a strong team of junior lawyer.

At the senior level, the firm are really looking for someone who has a full knowledge of LMA and someone who can lead deals, manage teams on transactions and someone who wants to build their own client relationships, although they would fully expect to help with this.

Due to the nature of the firm they are looking for outgoing lawyers who are true team players and always focussed on delivery. This is a really high functioning team, however there is plenty of flexibility, they frequently offer either part time work or flexible working arrangements and are a highly supportive team. They have also been able to offer the opportunity for client secondments, something that usually proves really popular.

If you are interested in this role, or would like to find out more about the opportunity please contact Rachael Mann at Sacco Mann or another member of our Private Practice team. Alternatively, if you know of anyone who would be suitable for this role then please let them or us know as we offer a reward for successful referrals. For full terms please see our website.
