Who am I and what can I do for you?

I began my career in legal recruitment in 2010 with a large national multi-discipline recruiter, before moving to join Sacco Mann in late 2011. I currently  specialise in Private Practice recruitment, servicing a wide range of clients and assisting Solicitors at all levels of their careers. My  remit covers the entire of the North West region  and largely focuses on Commercial Law.joined Sacco Mann in 2011 and am based in the Manchester office. My main role is to assist the Consultants with all administrative duties, payroll and CVs, as well as communicating with candidates on a regular basis. I also assist with organising staff events (which I particularly enjoy!).

What else should you know about me?

I was born and raised in Belfast (in a house located 5 minutes from where the Titanic was built!). I moved to England to pursue my academic studies and graduated with a BA in Politics and Media Studies in 2010. Having decided that the political arena was not for me, I moved into recruitment and have never looked back. I enjoyed the legal sector and decided to build my career in this discipline. I wanted to build my career with a specialist firm and, when the opportunity to join Sacco Mann was presented to me, I jumped at the chance.

If I wasn't doing what I'm doing now, what alternative career would I choose and why?

I would probably be a chef. I’ve started cooking a lot more in the past few years (largely necessitated by an aversion to the usual student cuisine) and have found it really enjoyable. I’d love the chance to re-create some Blumenthal-esque recipes, however I (and those I cook for) feel I should stick with the classics for now.

Dislikes: Crowded Gyms (nothing worse!), Soaps, Being delayed at the Airport
