I advise Solicitors at all stages of their career from Qualification through to Equity Partnership. One of the advantages of my longevity in the market is that many of my historical candidates are now clients, meaning not only that I know them well, but that they also know how I work and trust my opinion. This is of huge benefit to both clients and candidates - rather like lawyers who give bespoke commercial advice to their clients, rather than just quoting the law.
What else should you know about me?
Where to start without boring you! My route to recruitment was accidental but quickly followed graduation. I'm passionate about both the company and recruitment; I find people really interesting. Outside of work, I'm married, have two young boys that keep me extremely busy and I'm currently successfully resisting any kind of pets, having had a bad experience with goldfish: life is busy enough! I love socialising, which usually involves some form of drinking or eating. I'm also a very reluctant 'athlete': people (some of whom call themselves friends) keep signing me up to 10k runs etc, the latest being a triathlon!
If I wasn't doing what I'm doing now, what alternative career would I choose and why?
ANYTHING involved with the Grand Prix! I’d particularly like Jake Humphey’s job........on second thought’s Eddie Irvine’s would be better as it would stop him presenting!
Likes: In no particular order: travel, interiors, food, music, my children (most of the time), warm weather, good service.
Dislikes: Laziness, traffic jams, soap operas, bad service!
Five words that describe me: Calm, tenacious, caring, outgoing, hard working.
