Who am I and what can I do for you?
I work in the Private Practice Division and recruit solicitors into permanent roles in predominantly the East Midlands and Yorkshire.

What else should you know about me?

My legal career started in 2005 when I joined Hamers Solicitors, in Hessle, as a Trainee Solicitor.  In May 2007, I moved to Rollits in Hull, to finish the final three months of my training contract before qualifying into the Commercial Property team in August 2007.  Realising that Commercial Property was not for me, I moved to Leeds after I secured a job at Eversheds in their Banking team.  I spent two years at Eversheds before deciding that I wanted to be doing a job which was more about people and less about drafting long documents.  After much thought and consideration, I decided to take up the fresh challenge of legal recruitment and joined the private practice team at Sacco Mann in June 2010.

If I wasn't doing what I'm doing now, what alternative career would I choose and why?

Good question!  Not sure really.  My ambition from a very young age (in fact probably before I knew what one was or did!) was to be a lawyer.  Other than deciding that a career in legal recruitment is what I want to pursue, I've never really thought about what else I would choose to be.  Leave that one with me...

Likes: Holidays in the sun, watching rugby league, eating chocolate, drinking cocktails, gyming it and having a work / life balance so that I can enjoy spending time with friends and family.

Dislikes: Red meat, writing about myself, posing for photos and the ridiculous amount of cash footballers are paid!
