Legal Counsel

Sacco Mann is delighted to again be partnering with an ambitious and international, AIM listed company which leads the way in developing and manufacturing world-leading advanced wound care and wound closure products. They have an integral legal team which requires a commercial solicitor to compliment the department - a role which can be worked on a reduced hours basis and largely remotely with occasional presence in their Cheshire head office.

You're likely to have at least 1 yrs PQE and specific legal expertise is secondary to commercial acumen attitude and aptitude, however those lawyers with some experience of non-contentious drafting, company law or corporate transactions would be ideal. Exceptional NQ's will be considered as there is infrastructure within the department to help develop and train.

Day to day you'll support business unit(s) at an early stage of key contract negotiation, ensuring commercial goals are achieved in the most advantageous fashion and help prepare supply and distribution agreements, confidentiality agreements, other commercial agreements and associated legal documentation. There is also IP, commercial and quality/regulatory affairs as well as support with mergers and acquisitions activity, including with principal M&A documentation, due diligence and integration projects.
