Meet our Litigation & Real Estate Division

(Left to Right - Abbie, Ellie, Gemma, Nadine & Nat)

Our Litigation and Real Estate team focus entirely on those specialist areas. The Litigation aspect covers everything from Commercial Litigation, Property Litigation, Housing Litigation and Debt Litigation to all areas of Personal Injury to include Clinical Negligence, Industrial Disease, Serious Injury, EL/PL, and RTA; acting on behalf of clients across the whole of the North West from large nationals to smaller boutique firms. Within Real Estate we cover the whole spectrum including Commercial Property, Property Finance, and Development matters. We can assist candidates from Legal Assistant level through to Partners and thoroughly enjoy doing so.

Meet the team who can help you…

Gemma Beattie:

What is your role?
On a day to day basis I work closely with Nadine to manage the Litigation & Real Estate Division. Having worked at Sacco Mann since 2006, I am well and truly part of the furniture and put my many years of experience to good use in supporting the Consultants in ensuring we remain the quality recruiter of choice for both our candidates and clients.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
Yoga, meditation, cooking my family a delicious home cooked meal but if I am honest… it’s wine!

Nadine Ali:

What is your role?
As a Principal Consultant on the Real Estate and Litigation team, I lead the team strategically day to day. My focus is Qualified Solicitors in personal injury and Legal Executives and non-qualified fee earners in all other areas of Litigation and Real Estate. The core of my role is fee earning, but in addition to this I focus on strategy/developing business for the team, identifying market trends, training needs, improving processes and generally supporting management from an operational perspective.

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
“Aim to be the best of the best” I like this because it reminds us to work on our strengths as well as our weaknesses. My dad said it to me when I was a younger.

Ellie Walkden:

What is your role?
Having joined Sacco Mann in January 2018, I’m currently a Consultant within the Litigation and Real Estate team specialising in non-qualified fee earner recruitment in these areas within the North West. I work with a wide range of clients to include high street practices to the larger nationals and global firms. Along with my other teammates I pride myself on building strong relationships, candidates and clients alike, to ensure both parties find either their perfect role/new employee!

Do you have any pets?
Do I have any pets? YES! I love animals… I am a mother to two dogs (Dexter the Pug and Lottie the Shih Tzu) and then two kitties (Beau the Black and White feline along with Phoebe the Wonky-eyed Siamese). They are my babies.

To be honest, I do actually consider all animals that I cross paths with in life to be my pets/best friends – whether they have owners or not, I don’t care – in my head they are mine! So yes, lots and lots and lots of pets.

Nat Bernstein:

What is your role?
I joined Sacco Mann in 2015 and have worked closely with the team as Resourcer.  My day to day duties include speaking with candidates and clients and making sure that we are providing the best service.  I work alongside Nadine and help source Qualified Solicitors in personal injury and Legal Executives and non-qualified fee earners in all other areas of Litigation and Real Estate.

What’s the best TV series you’ve recently watched?
I don’t always get chance to watch a TV series, but I would definitely say The Handmaid’s Tale is the best up to now!

Abbie Clifford:

What is your role?
I am a Resourcer on the Litigation and Real Estate team. Generally, my days consist of assisting my Consultants by speaking to new candidates, arranging interviews and writing adverts for their jobs.

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
Outside of work I take part in a variety of amateur dramatic shows as I have a huge passion for musical theatre and actually have a degree in Musical Arts. I really enjoy anything to do with singing, dancing & acting.
