A new role has arisen with one of our leading commercial clients’ for an experienced legal counsel to join their growing team responsible for the UK and Ireland.
In the course of the role, you will be required to advise on contractual matters and corporate transactions as well as advising management on legal risks affecting the company’s businesses. Experience in Commercial, Company, IP, Litigation, EU and Competition law fields would also be desirable. You will also be required to draft, negotiate and review commercial contracts between the company and its business partners as well as third parties and service providers.
Candidates with experience of working in pharmaceutical, medical devices, R&D technology, FMCG or similar industry would be of particular interest.
The client would consider candidates who are currently working in a top private practice law firm or those candidates doing similar work in industry. Candidates will ideally have gained 5-8 years post qualification experience.
The successful candidate will need to be ambitious, driven and not afraid to challenge the status quo. Heading up the business development side of the legal team the role offers good medium to long term prospects.
