Who am I and what can I do for you?
I have worked in Legal Recruitment since 2007, assisting law firms of all shapes and sizes in their recruitment needs. This has included global law firms and professional services organisations, mid level firms, boutique firms and high street firms. During this I have worked with job seekers across almost all sectors of law, ranging from Partners to Paralegals.
I like to think that I take a very consultative approach with both recruiting Partners and with job seekers. I’ve worked on some really obscure roles and I’ve assisted people who have had very bespoke requirements or been in difficult situations.
What else should you know about me?
- I have 4 children!
- I coach a children’s rugby team.
- I love sport, music and reading.
- I have represented England at wargaming.
5 words that describe me? Hardworking, resilient, tenacious, compassionate and kind
What team are you part of, and what is the best thing about your team
Part of the West Midlands team. We are fun, committed to helping candidates & clients and well connected in the market.
- Who would you like to meet and why? As a self-confessed history buff there are too many to name - name – Neil Armstrong, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Gengis Khan, Emma of Normandy, Alexander the Great, Catherine the Great and Mehmed II all spring to mind. However, someone who I think would be particularly fascinating would be Neville Chamberlain. Often maligned, he genuinely thought that he had pulled peace from the brink of disaster.
- What is your favourite sport and why? To be honest, I am a bit of sport fanatic – I would happily watch competitive tiddlywinks. My favourite sport is Rugby Union, which I played to county level and now I coach. I genuinely believe that is the ultimate team sport. A rugby team is like a machine - there is a role for people of all different shapes & sizes – and they all need to work together in harmony in order to achieve victory.
