Are you a talented Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor looking for an exciting opportunity with a highly regarded national law firm? Our client, a prestigious UK Top 50 firm, is seeking a passionate and driven solicitor to join their dynamic Construction Team in Leeds.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Non-Contentious Construction solicitor to work at the cutting edge of the clean energy sector, advising on some of the most innovative and complex projects in the UK and Europe. You'll collaborate with leading partners across multiple offices, supporting major clients in areas such as battery energy storage systems, solar PV, wind, and emerging renewable technologies.

From drafting and negotiating EPC contracts and supply agreements to advising on project developments, acquisitions, and disposals, your work will directly contribute to advancing sustainable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing and supporting transactions in the clean energy and renewables sector.
  • Drafting and negotiating construction and supply contracts, including FIDIC and MF/1 forms.
  • Advising clients on EPC, O&M, and component warranty agreements.
  • Working closely with colleagues in real estate, corporate, finance, and planning to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development.

About you

You will be a motivated and commercially minded lawyer who:

  • Has at least 5+ years' experience in construction, commercial, or projects work.
  • Brings either existing renewables experience or a genuine passion to enter the clean energy market.
  • Is confident in drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively across teams and offices.
  • Keeps up to date with developments in both construction law and renewable technologies.
