About the Role

This role is perfectly suited for Solicitors with a keen interest in rural property law, including farms, estates, rights of way, agricultural tenancies, minerals, and renewable energy schemes.

You will:

  • Advise on the sales, purchase and letting of rural properties
  • Handle easements, rights of way, and estate management work
  • Assist with agricultural tenancies and successions
  • Work on minerals ownership, renewable energy schemes, and sporting rights
  • Engage in rural secured lending and other rural property-related matters

As part of a growing Agricultural team, you will benefit from a collaborative environment, with flexible working initiatives.

The Ideal Solicitor for this role will be:

  • At NQ level, or with up to 5 years of PQE in rural property or relevant experience (if you are at NQ level, you will have experience in Commercial Property, or desirably, Agricultural Property during your training)
  • Strong technical ability and proactive attitude
  • Excellent client and people management skills
  • Interest in a rural law practice, with commercial awareness and a desire to specialise further in this area
