Agriculture & Rural Property |Newcastle or Teesside | NQ–5 PQE | General Commerical Property Experience Considered
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a NQ–5 PQE Solicitor to join a highly regarded and growing Agriculture, Estates & Rural Property team within a leading North East law firm.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their career in rural and landed estates work, with the support of an experienced team and the opportunity to work on a varied and interesting caseload.
You’ll ideally have experience across some of the following areas:
- Buying, selling and letting rural property, including farms, landed estates, amenity land and woodland
- Easements and rights of way
- Agricultural tenancies and succession matters
- Minerals ownership, title, registration and trespass issues
- Working mines and minerals
- Estate management
- First registrations
- Sporting rights, including shooting and fishing
- Rural property secured lending
- Renewable energy and energy storage projects, including options and leases for solar farms
Commercial property experience will also be considered, particularly if you have a genuine interest in developing a career specialising in rural and landed estates work.

As well as your legal expertise, you’ll have excellent client and relationship management skills, good commercial awareness and an interest in business development and building your own profile in the market.

You’ll be joining a well-established Agriculture, Estates & Rural Property team that forms part of a wider 200+ strong law firm with an excellent reputation across the North East.
