Associate / Senior Associate Healthcare Commercial Solicitor

Commercial Health Solicitor | Hybrid working | Flexible working available | Manchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Commercial Health Solicitor to join a leading national healthcare commercial team advising NHS, public sector and independent healthcare organisations on complex procurement and commercial matters.

The role

You'll advise clients across a broad range of healthcare procurement, commercial and regulatory matters, including:

  • Public procurement under the Procurement Act 2023, PCR 2015 and Provider Selection Regime.
  • Advising contracting authorities and bidders throughout procurement processes.
  • Drafting procurement documentation and commercial contracts.
  • Advising on procurement challenges and disputes.
  • Supporting innovative commercial arrangements, including joint ventures and collaboration agreements.
  • Delivering client training on procurement and commercial law.
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

 

About you

You'll be a qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with:

  • 3+ years PQE in procurement law, ideally within the health or public sector (other relevant experience will be considered).
  • Strong drafting, research and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and client deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in developing client relationships.
  • A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for business development and learning.
