Biotechnology Patent Attorney – London or Cambridge
SaccoMann is thrilled to be partnering again with our client, a leading IP firm with offices in London and Cambridge, as they look to recruit a talented Biotechnology Patent Attorney.
Working with a broad spectrum of clients, from emerging biotech companies to established pharmaceutical organisations, on innovations at the forefront of science, this role offers the chance to handle subject matter spanning immunotherapies, cell therapies and antibodies. The role provides involvement across all stages of patent work, including drafting and filing, prosecution, opposition proceedings, due diligence and wider strategic IP advisory matters. Candidate requirements:
- UK and European Patent Attorney
- Academic background in a relevant life sciences discipline, such as biotechnology, biochemistry or molecular biology; a doctorate is advantageous
- Experience working with biotech or pharmaceutical related patent matters with a thorough understanding of cell and gene therapies
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific concepts in a practical and accessible way
- Commercially aware, with a proactive and client-oriented approach
- Those with existing supervisory experience will be considered advantageous
