About the role
- Position: Children’s Law Solicitor
- Location: Nottingham
- Practice Area: Mix of public and private children work, including domestic abuse cases
- Type: Full-time
- Key responsibilities: advising and representing clients, conducting advocacy, managing files, and fostering professional relationships
The ideal candidate
- Qualifying in Children Law with relevant experience within a dedicated Children’s Law team
- Resolution accredited and/or a Children Panel member would be advantageous or willingness to work towards this
- Excellent advocacy and communication skills
- Proficient IT skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Organised with an ability to manage files and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Legal Aid regulations
- Friendly, proactive, with a positive attitude and professional demeanour
