About the Firm

Sacco Mann is working with a long-established and highly respected Yorkshire law firm looking to recruit a Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor into its Leeds-based team. The Role

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of claimant Personal Injury matters, predominantly EL/PL claims alongside some RTA and disease work.

The role will involve:

  • Managing pre- and post-litigated Personal Injury files from inception through to settlement

  • Handling EL/PL, RTA and disease claims

  • Drafting legal documentation including witness statements and schedules of loss

  • Preparing documents for the MOJ Portal

  • Liaising with clients, medical professionals, insurers and third parties

  • Conducting legal research and remaining up to date with developments within Personal Injury law and procedure

  • Negotiating settlements and progressing litigated matters where required

  • Working towards individual and team targets while maintaining excellent client care standards

This role offers strong autonomy alongside support from an experienced and well-established Personal Injury department.

Candidate Requirements

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with between 1+ years’ PQE to senior level, although candidates with equivalent claimant Personal Injury experience will also be considered.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Experience handling claimant EL/PL files independently

  • Solid litigation experience within Personal Injury

  • Knowledge of the MOJ Pre-Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules

  • Strong client care and communication skills

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail

  • The ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure

  • A proactive and self-motivated approach

Experience handling disease claims would be advantageous but is not essential.
