The Role

You’ll be joining a specialist Clinical Negligence team based in Birmingham, acting for claimants on a wide range of medical negligence matters.

Your work will include advising clients on claims involving delayed diagnosis, surgical errors, birth injuries, negligent treatment and fatal claims, alongside assisting senior lawyers on complex and higher-value litigation.

You’ll manage cases throughout the claims process, including investigating liability, reviewing medical evidence, instructing experts, valuing claims and progressing matters through litigation where required.

The role offers strong client contact and the opportunity to make a genuine difference to individuals and families affected by serious medical negligence.

You’ll work closely with experienced lawyers within a supportive team structure, gaining exposure to high-quality work while developing both technical expertise and client management skills.

This role is well suited to a solicitor seeking long-term development within a respected claimant practice offering high levels of support and flexibility.

• Qualified Solicitor with 1–6 years’ PQE in clinical negligence or claimant personal injury work
