About the role
This role involves managing a comprehensive caseload of defendant clinical negligence matters, including reviewing insurance policies, advising on coverage, drafting reports, interviewing witnesses, instructing experts and counsel, and attending court proceedings. You will also play an active part in client communication, business development, and internal knowledge sharing. The organisation values your input in providing legal updates and training, fostering growth within the team and across the firm’s wider healthcare practice.
- Managing a varied portfolio related to pharmacy, aesthetic, and private clinicians
- Attending court for case management, trials, and mediations
- Contributing to client training and external or internal articles
- Supporting colleagues’ development through supervision and coaching
The ideal candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with defendant clinical negligence experience
- A proactive, pragmatic approach with a focus on quality and detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in flexible settings
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with understanding of client data security
