About the role
Joining the Health Litigation team, you will manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims, including obstetric, neonatal, and brain injury claims. Responsibilities include analysing evidence, advising clients, instructing experts and counsel, attending Court, negotiating settlements, and participating in conferences and trials. The role involves supervising junior team members, developing your specialism, and contributing to the firm’s reputation for excellence in health litigation. Flexibility for remote or hybrid working arrangements is available, making this an attractive opportunity for professionals seeking balance and variety in their work.
The ideal candidate
- Qualified Solicitor (3-9 years PQE) with a strong background in Clinical Negligence
- Experience with NHS Resolution or MDO work is preferred but not essential
- Excellent organisational, communication, and client management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and adherence to protocols
- Open to supporting and mentoring junior team members
