The Role
- Leading on a broad range of complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters
- Advising businesses, owner-managed companies, SMEs, and corporate clients on contentious issues
- Managing high-value and complex disputes through negotiation, mediation, and litigation
- Handling contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, professional negligence claims, and other commercial litigation matters
- Building and developing long-term client relationships
- Working closely with colleagues across multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
- Leading and mentoring junior lawyers within the team
- Driving business development initiatives and expanding the firm's commercial litigation offering within the region
- Playing a key role in the continued growth and success of the Dispute Resolution department

Key Responsibilities
- Leading complex commercial disputes from inception through to resolution
- Managing and developing key client relationships
- Advising clients on litigation strategy, risk, and commercial objectives
- Supporting business development and networking activities
- Identifying opportunities for cross-referrals and wider client services
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to the growth and success of the wider litigation team
- Maintaining high standards of client care and service delivery
About You
The ideal candidate will be commercially driven, entrepreneurial, and eager to take advantage of a genuine growth opportunity. You will have:
- Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in Commercial Litigation
- Experience operating at Partner level or ready to step into Partnership
- Strong technical expertise across a broad range of commercial disputes
- Proven business development and relationship management skills
- A strong network of professional contacts and referrers
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Experience leading complex disputes and managing client relationships independently
- A collaborative approach and desire to contribute to team success
