The Role
You’ll be managing a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, working both independently and as part of a wider team. The role offers a high level of responsibility, with the opportunity to advise clients directly and contribute to more complex and high-value disputes.
Your work will include handling disputes from pre-action through to contested court proceedings, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and in line with procedural requirements. You’ll also be involved in contentious insolvency matters, including supporting on settlements and court appearances.
Alongside your caseload, you’ll build strong client relationships, providing tailored and commercially focused advice aligned with their objectives. There will also be opportunities to support and supervise junior team members and contribute to the wider development of the team.
What they’re looking for
• Qualified Solicitor with 1+ years’ PQE in Commercial Litigation
• Experience independently managing a caseload of commercial disputes
• Strong technical knowledge of litigation procedures and compliance requirements
• Confident advocacy and dispute resolution skills
• Commercial and pragmatic approach to advising clients
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
