Commercial Litigation Solicitor | Legal 500 Ranked Firm | Oldham
A well-established, Legal 500 ranked law firm based in Oldham is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven solicitor with around 3 years’ PQE who is looking to take on a varied caseload and develop their career within a supportive and ambitious practice.
Key Responsibilities
Within this Commercial Litigation Solicitor role, you will manage your own caseload of a wide range of commercial disputes, acting for both businesses and individuals. Matters will include contractual disputes, debt recovery, shareholder disputes, property-related disputes and general commercial litigation matters.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Managing a varied caseload from inception through to resolution

Providing commercially focused advice to clients

Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, correspondence and other legal documentation

Attending client meetings, negotiations, mediations and court hearings where required

Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm
The Successful Candidate will have:
-
Around 3 years’ previous experience within Commercial Litigation (or similar dispute resolution experience)

Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision

Strong technical knowledge and excellent drafting skills
-
Excellent communication and client management skills
-
A commercial approach with the ability to build strong relationships with clients

The ambition and drive to progress within a growing team
