The Role
This senior leadership role offers the chance to manage and develop the firm’s commercial property offering, overseeing a broad portfolio of transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and property finance. You will take ownership of the practice’s strategic direction, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to client development initiatives. A key aspect of the role involves working closely with the Corporate team on M&A and demergers, providing integrated real estate advice. You will also be instrumental in mentoring junior lawyers and support staff, fostering a high-performance team culture.
The position invites a proactive leader with a solutions-focused mindset and proven experience in managing complex property transactions in sectors such as healthcare and education—although these are not essential.
What They're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with approximately 8 years post-qualification experience, boasting a strong track record in commercial property law.

Excellent technical drafting skills, a commercial outlook, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload are essential.

You should have experience advising on real estate aspects of corporate transactions, property finance, and landlord-tenant matters, with the capability to build lasting client relationships and generate repeat business.
