About the Firm

Sacco Mann is working with a highly regarded Yorkshire law firm looking to recruit a Commercial Property Lawyer or Chartered Legal Executive into its growing Property team based in York. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and supportive regional practice known for its strong client relationships, quality work, and genuinely positive working culture.

The firm has built an excellent reputation across Yorkshire and continues to attract a broad range of commercial clients including landowners, developers, agricultural businesses, house builders, and commercial property investors. They are now looking to expand their Commercial Property offering further with the addition of an ambitious and personable lawyer who is keen to continue developing their experience within a collaborative team environment.

The Role

This Commercial Property Lawyer role offers exposure to a varied and high-quality caseload, working closely alongside experienced senior lawyers and the Head of Property.

The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of commercial property matters including:

  • Sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold commercial and residential property

  • Development matters

  • Promotion and option agreements

  • Commercial and residential leases

  • Easements

  • Secured lending

  • Property finance matters

  • Overage and planning agreements

  • Site acquisitions and disposals

The role offers a strong mix of independent fee earning work alongside opportunities to support on more complex transactions to continue developing technical expertise.

Candidate Requirements

Applications are welcomed from:

  • Commercial Property Solicitors

  • Chartered Legal Executives (CILEX)

  • Commercial Property Fee Earners

The firm is ideally looking for candidates with at least 2 years’ experience within Commercial Property, although candidates with slightly less experience who can demonstrate strong technical ability and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will:
