About the Job
As part of the firm’s continued growth and increasing client demand, I’m recruiting on behalf of an established firm for an experienced and motivated Commercial Property Fee Earner to join their busy Liverpool city centre office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take ownership of a varied caseload and play an important role within a supportive and growing team.
The Role
The successful candidate will handle a broad mix of commercial and residential property matters and will be given the opportunity to build strong client relationships and contribute towards business development and future growth.
Responsibilities

Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters

Providing quotations and advising clients on anticipated costs including stamp duty and legal fees

Liaising with clients, lenders and third parties involved in transactions

Conducting property searches and handling all stages of transactions through to completion

Drafting and reviewing legal documentation including contracts, transfer deeds, leases, legal charges, deed of easements, licences to assign, discharge deeds, rent deposit deeds, deed of variation agreements, planning agreements, debentures and personal guarantees

Preparing reports on title for clients and lenders

Preparing financial statements and completing SDLT/LTT forms

Dealing with post-completion matters and registration requirements

Supporting the growth of the department through maintaining and developing client relationships

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
-
A minimum of 3 years’ recent experience working within commercial conveyancing

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload independently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong drafting and technical skills
-
A proactive and professional approach to client care
-
The ability to work effectively to deadlines and prioritise workload efficiently
-
A team-focused attitude with the confidence to work on their own initiative
