The Role
- Leading on a broad range of commercial property transactions for a diverse client base
- Advising developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and owner-managed businesses on real estate matters
- Handling acquisitions, disposals, development projects, and investment transactions
- Advising on landlord and tenant matters, including lease negotiations and portfolio management
- Supporting clients on strategic property matters and long-term business objectives
- Building and developing long-term client relationships
- Working closely with colleagues across multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
- Leading and mentoring junior lawyers within the team
- Driving business development initiatives and expanding the firm's commercial property offering within the region
- Playing a key role in the continued growth and success of the Real Estate department

Key Responsibilities
- Leading complex commercial property transactions from inception to completion
- Managing and developing key client relationships
- Advising clients on strategic real estate matters and commercial objectives
- Supporting business development and networking activities
- Identifying opportunities for cross-referrals and wider client services
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to the growth and success of the wider real estate team
- Maintaining high standards of client care and service delivery
About You
The ideal candidate will be commercially driven, entrepreneurial, and eager to take advantage of a genuine growth opportunity. You will have:
- Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in Commercial Property / Real Estate law
- Experience operating at Partner level or ready to step into Partnership
- Strong technical expertise across a broad range of commercial property matters
- Proven business development and relationship management skills
- A strong network of professional contacts and referrers
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience leading complex transactions and managing client relationships independently
- A collaborative approach and desire to contribute to team success
- Ambition to build and grow a successful commercial property practice
