The Role
- Advising a high-quality client base on a broad range of commercial property matters
- Handling complex and high-value commercial property transactions
- Acting for investors, developers, landlords, tenants and businesses
- Advising on acquisitions and disposals
- Handling landlord and tenant matters, including lease negotiations
- Advising on property development and investment matters
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial property documentation
- Providing commercially focused and strategic advice to clients
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Playing a key role in the continued development of the firm's commercial property offering
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a high-quality commercial property caseload
- Advising on acquisitions, disposals, development and investment matters
- Handling complex landlord and tenant transactions
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial property documentation
- Providing commercially focused advice tailored to clients' objectives
- Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion
- Maintaining and developing strong client relationships
- Contributing to business development and the firm's wider growth
- Developing relationships with professional referrers and other advisers
- Supporting the development of junior lawyers and colleagues
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the commercial property practice
About You
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor at Partner level, or someone with the experience and ambition to make that next step. You will have:
- Significant experience within commercial property
- Strong technical expertise across a broad range of commercial property matters
- Experience handling complex and high-value transactions
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to provide pragmatic advice
- Excellent client care and relationship-building skills
- A proven ability to develop and maintain a strong professional network
- Business development experience and a desire to contribute to the firm's growth
- Leadership and mentoring experience
- A collaborative and personable approach
- An interest in working within a boutique environment where quality is prioritised over volume
