The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Advising a diverse client base, including established regional businesses and nationally recognised organisations
- Drafting and negotiating commercial property documentation
- Providing practical, commercially focused legal advice
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Supporting business development initiatives and departmental growth
- Ensuring compliance with professional standards and risk management procedures

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied commercial property caseload independently
- Advising clients on freehold and leasehold transactions
- Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and ancillary documentation
- Delivering exceptional client service and building lasting relationships
- Supporting business development and networking initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal risk management procedures
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm
- Meeting deadlines and contributing to departmental success
About You
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, proactive, and eager to develop their career. You will have:
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE in Commercial Property
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial real estate transactions
- Experience gained within a reputable Commercial Property department
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and practical problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage your own caseload independently
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A collaborative and team-focused approach
- Enthusiasm for business development and contributing to the continued success of the department
