The firm operates out of Derby/Nottingham/Loughborough and is happy to consider candidates for any of these locations.

The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion
- Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and commercial leases
- Drafting and negotiating commercial property documentation
- Supervising and supporting junior fee earners and support staff within the department
- Working efficiently within the firm's case management system
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the Commercial Property team

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse commercial property caseload independently
- Advising clients on freehold and leasehold commercial transactions
- Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and associated legal documentation
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
- Working confidently within the firm's case management system
- Maintaining high standards of client care and communication
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Supporting business development and contributing to departmental growth
About You
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, organised, and ready to take on a leadership role. You will have:
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in Commercial Property law
- Proven ability to manage a commercial property caseload independently
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Confidence using a legal case management system
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial property transactions
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and client relationship skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork
