Commercial Property Solicitor

Newly Created Opportunity | Departmental Growth | Bonus scheme

An established and well-regarded regional law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join its Newark office as part of the continued growth of its property team.

This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced Partners, take on additional work as the department expands and play an important role in the team's future development.

With an established client base and a growing workload, this is an attractive opportunity for a commercial property solicitor seeking a varied caseload within a supportive regional practice.

The Role

You will manage a broad range of commercial property matters, working closely with the existing Partners and supporting the department's ongoing development.

Your work may include:

  • Commercial property acquisitions and disposals.

  • Commercial leases and landlord and tenant matters.

  • Advising business owners, landlords, investors and other commercial clients.

  • Managing transactions from instruction through to completion.

  • Developing client relationships and contributing to further business growth.

There is also scope to become involved in agricultural property matters. Previous agricultural experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential, as support and training can be provided.

About You

  • A qualified Solicitor with solid commercial property experience.

  • Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.

  • Experienced in advising commercial clients and handling property transactions.

  • Commercially minded, with an interest in developing client relationships.

  • Someone who would enjoy contributing to a growing team and helping shape its future.

Candidates with an existing client following or established professional relationships that could generate additional work may be of particular interest.

What's on Offer?

  • A newly created role within an expanding department.

  • The opportunity to work closely with experienced Partners.

  • A varied commercial property caseload with scope to develop further expertise.

  • Training in agricultural property work where required.

  • A friendly, family-oriented culture with a strong emphasis on long-term staff relationships.

  • A bonus scheme.

  • Salary negotiable based on experience, fee generation and any existing client following.

  • Newark town-centre offices with parking available.

If you're an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor looking for a new challenge within an established regional firm, with the opportunity to develop your practice and contribute to future growth, I'd welcome a confidential conversation.
