About the role

The firm’s expanding construction & engineering team specialises in infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on public and private sector developments such as transport, flood defence, and other capital projects.  Their clients include developers, funders, government (central and local)  as well as other public bodies.

Your work will involve drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts, managing your own caseload, and contributing to practice development initiatives, although they won't't be expecting you to bring work in it is beneficial to your career to start building these skills early.  As part of a growing team, you'll have opportunities to build lasting client relationships and grow your career within a collaborative, open-plan office environment that encourages cross-departmental working.

The ideal candidate

The successful applicant will have 3+ years’ experience in construction or commercial contracts, with a keen interest in infrastructure and project work. You will possess excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, with the confidence to establish and maintain professional relationships. A proven ability to work under pressure and a desire to progress within a supportive environment are highly valued.
