This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer to step into a senior leadership role and play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the firm’s commercial offering.
As a key strategic hire, you will oversee and develop the corporate and commercial practice, manage a broad portfolio of high-quality matters, and drive business development initiatives. The role offers the autonomy to grow and refine the department while working with a strong existing client base and a committed leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Corporate & Commercial department
- Advise on a diverse caseload of corporate and commercial matters
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships
- Contribute to firm-wide strategic planning and growth initiatives
- Support, mentor and oversee junior team members
- Drive business development and promote the firm’s presence across the region
About You
- Proven experience as a Partner or senior solicitor in a commercial law environment
- Strong technical expertise across corporate and commercial matters
- Exceptional business development skills with a track record of generating and nurturing work
- Confident leader with experience managing teams and driving performance
- Commercially minded, strategic, and motivated to influence departmental growth
- Qualified solicitor with established partnership experience or equivalent senior credentials
