An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Partner to join a vibrant and growing law firm in Birmingham.
The firm has an ambitious approach to growth and is looking for an experienced Corporate lawyer who can play a key role in developing the practice. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic environment, with the freedom to develop client relationships, grow their own practice and help shape the future direction of the Corporate team.
The team advises a broad range of businesses, shareholders and investors on a variety of corporate transactions, working closely with clients to provide practical and commercially focused advice.
The Work will include:
- Advising on a broad range of corporate transactions.
- Acting on acquisitions, disposals and mergers.
- Advising shareholders and management teams.
- Handling investments, reorganisations and restructurings.
- Advising on joint ventures and shareholder arrangements.
- Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
- Building and developing strong client relationships.
- Taking an active role in business development and networking.
- Identifying opportunities to grow the Corporate practice.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm.
- Supporting and developing junior members of the team.
- Playing a key role in the continued growth and development of the Birmingham office.
About You
We’re looking for a Corporate lawyer with:
- Strong experience in Corporate law at Partner or senior level.
- A proven track record of advising on a broad range of corporate transactions.
- An established network of clients and contacts, or a strong appetite to develop one.
- Excellent technical, drafting and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
- The ability to develop long-term client relationships.
- A genuine interest in business development and growing a practice.
- Leadership skills and the ability to support and develop colleagues.
- An entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
- The ambition to play an active role in a growing firm.
