Corporate Associate | 3 - 5 PQE) | National Law Firm | Manchester City Centre
An established UK law firm with a strong national presence and growing international reach is looking to recruit a Corporate Associate to join its highly regarded team in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-structured and collaborative team advising a diverse client base across a range of sectors.
The Role
You will work on a broad mix of corporate transactional matters, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
- Joint ventures
- Private equity transactions
- Drafting and negotiating key corporate documents (including SPAs, shareholders’ agreements and articles of association)
You will also play a role in client relationship management and business development, contributing to seminars, articles and wider marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on a range of corporate law matters
- Managing matters effectively to meet deadlines and client expectations
- Drafting clear, commercially focused legal documentation
- Supporting on complex transactions as part of a wider team
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 3 - 5 years’ PQE in corporate law
- Experience advising on M&A and general corporate transactions
- Strong drafting and technical legal skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive and client-focused approach
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
