About the role
This position offers vibrant and varied corporate work, including:
- Mergers, acquisitions and buyouts
- Corporate restructures and company set-ups
- Shareholders’, members’ and options agreements
- Corporate governance and franchise transactions
- Distribution agreements, IP, and shareholder rights
- Corporate finance and data protection
There’s scope to get involved in business development and help widen the firm’s corporate offering, contributing to client relationships and new opportunities.
The ideal candidate
- Enjoys advising clients on a broad corporate caseload with confidence and commercial awareness
- Proactive, entrepreneurial and keen to develop new areas of law
- Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach
- Ambitious to take on responsibility and progress into leadership roles
- Open to handling transactional and non-contentious work, with experience in construction, charity or consumer law seen as a plus
- Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 5 years PWE
