The role
We are seeking a motivated Corporate Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE to join the firm’s growing corporate team. This role provides the opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of corporate matters, from mergers and acquisitions to restructurings, with a range of deal sizes from £150k to £25 million. The successful candidate will work closely with both Partners and more junior team members, supporting a diverse and engaging caseload that spans acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, and refinancing transactions. They are looking for someone who can not only take on substantive transactions and run with them, but also support the more junior team members both on a day-to-day basis and also with their longer-term development, something they take very seriously as both a team and firm.
The ideal candidate
They are looking for a qualified solicitor with a solid corporate background and experience from a reputable law firm. Whether at Senior Associate Level or Legal Director level, your skills in drafting, negotiation, and client communication are key to success. You should be adept at managing multiple priorities efficiently, working well under pressure, and eager to contribute to a team working on high-quality work for a varied client base. There is scope for someone who is looking to push their career forward, or they could recruit someone who wants a senior role but with more work-life balance, whether that be for either a period of time or the longer term.
