Corporate Solicitor - 3-6yrs PQE

The Opportunity

We are currently assisting our client, a well-established firm in Manchester, to appoint a Corporate Solicitor with 3-6 years PQE, for their office based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Solicitor to join a dynamic team and contribute to high-quality corporate legal work within a supportive environment.

 

The Role

You will be a valued member of the team and will be involved in working closely with the senior team and assisting with the supervision of the junior members of our team. Your role will be client-facing and you will be supported in getting involved in practice development initiatives for the firm. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior fee earners on large transactions and complex corporate reorganisation
  • Work collaboratively as part of the wider corporate team on client matters
  • Take ownership of discrete corporate matters with appropriate supervision
  • Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to their development
  • Ensure junior team members have clear career development plans in place
  • Actively contribute to business development and marketing activities
  • Engage in client-facing work and build strong client relationships

 

What They're Looking For

  • Qualified solicitor with 3-6 years PQE in Corporate Law
  • Proven experience handling corporate transactions, restructures, and M&A
  • Strong understanding of relevant legal frameworks and compliance issues
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
