About the role

- Practice Area: Court of Protection, Property & Affairs
- Location: Manchester (Hybrid working – 2-3 days in the office)
As a key member of the Court of Protection team, as a Solicitor, you will manage a caseload of complex Property and Affairs files supported by experienced case workers and trainee solicitors. You will work closely with the Directors, contributing to high-value, contested cases, including applications to the Court and investigations into financial abuse. This dynamic role offers ample opportunity for professional development and potential progression within a vibrant, thriving team.
The ideal candidate
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Court of Protection work, ideally with high-value or complex cases
- Strong understanding of applications, contentious proceedings, and financial abuse investigations
- Experienced in advising families on LPAs and deputyship applications
- Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach
- Ability to work effectively in a team and oversee case management tasks
