The Role
You will:
- Manage a varied caseload of criminal defence matters
- Conduct advocacy in the Magistrates’ Court
- Handle Crown Court cases
- Attend police stations and court hearings
- Advise and represent clients throughout proceedings
- Liaise with courts, third parties and colleagues
- Prepare legal documentation and progress matters efficiently
- Support wider team objectives and compliance standards
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in Criminal Law
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Organised with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
- Proactive and team-focused approach
Desirable
- Police Station Accreditation
- Duty Solicitor Status or willingness to work towards it
