NQ Solicitor| Debt Litigation | Newcastle|
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join a highly regarded Debt Litigation team in Newcastle.
This role would suit a candidate who has completed a seat in Commercial Litigation or Debt Litigation and is keen to develop their career specialising in debt recovery and dispute resolution. You'll join a friendly, supportive team known for delivering high-quality work and excellent client service.
The Role
You will be involved in a broad range of debt litigation matters, including:
- Handling complex pre-action disputes
- Managing mediations and settlement meetings
- Drafting and dealing with applications during proceedings
- Managing a caseload of defended actions, including small claims matters
- Assisting with and progressing fast-track and intermediate-track cases
- Drafting witness statements and costs schedules
- Instructing Counsel and liaising throughout proceedings
- Preparing cases for trial
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ)
- Completed a seat in Commercial Litigation, Debt Litigation, or a similar dispute resolution practice area
- Strong drafting and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Keen to build a long-term career specialising in debt litigation
