About the role
This is a permanent position as a Catastrophic Injury Solicitor. You will assist a partner in managing a varied caseload of high-value, catastrophic personal injury claims including brain, spinal, and amputation injuries, as well as complex liability issues across EL/PL and motor claims. Your responsibilities will encompass investigating claims, liaising with stakeholders such as insurers, police, and witnesses, instructing experts, preparing reports, and attending court and conferences as required. The role also involves mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery within the team.

The ideal candidate
- A qualified solicitor with between 2-10 years PQE, with experience managing defendant personal injury litigation, preferably in Motor or EL/PL.
- Possesses a strong commercial awareness coupled with excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Demonstrates a methodical approach and the ability to work under pressure, adhering to strict deadlines and client protocols.
- Is conscientious, driven, and motivated to contribute to operational excellence and client satisfaction.
- Possesses IT proficiency and excels in multitasking and prioritisation, with a collaborative team ethos and the ability to work independently when required.
